Event Details

Rev. Myles Sheehan will lead a discussion about the interaction between a caregiver and patient that has many components, one of which is the spiritual. This presentation will focus on caregiving as a spiritual experience with the encounter between patient and doctor as potential holy ground. Using themes of vocation and Pope Francis’ preaching on mercy, caregiving will be explored as a call to merciful encounter between caregiver and patient. Rev. Myles Sheehan specialized in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He is an ethicist in the hospital and medical school environment. Event tickets are $10.
