Rev. Dr. Antje Jackelén will be returning where she once taught, the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC), to speak about the “Reformation and Responsibility in the World” on November 27 at 6 p.m.

Before Jackelen’s election to become the Archbishop of Uppsala and Primate Church of Sweden in 2007, she served as professor of systematic theology/religion and science at LSTC and was the director of the Zygon Center for Religion and Science.

During her time as Archbishop, she has hosted a historic meeting with Pope Francis and was behind a letter approved by the bishops of the Church of Sweden that issued a call to action to the global church to address the unpredicted threat of climate change.
